young damsel meets le reve...

it has finally happened! myself and fellow blogger valeria from le reve (aka my bestest amiga) have come together for a fabulous photo shoot (: and while i should be studying for my geometry final, i have come to the conclusion it is absolutely necessary to post these photos, for they are, in my opinion, darling! the day consisted of crashing into another car while [horribly] parallel parking, getting yelled at by the owner of a hookah bar, sipping on way-too-strong cuban coffee, blasting girl talk and peter bjorn, stealing OJ and vodka from grandparents, munching on paella, sneaking out into guys' cars, ordering chinese food at god knows what time, and finally squeezing into a full bed--oh those summer nights<33

what i wore: forever 21 dress, gray leggings, steve madden cobalt heels (vale's...hehe) and a vintage dooney and bourke...[check out the hello kitty temporary tattoo on my neck in the last shot, hehe]
what valeria wore: chiffon dress from boutique "blush", urban outfitters sling, and fringe sandals

summer-oh-nine

since summer is only four days away--yes, just four--i have decided to make myself a little "do-to list" of the things i want to experience the most this long, much needed break. let us begin...

• wake up every morning with the previous night's make-up smeared all over
  
• go to bed with my ears ringing, in part to the blasting music i was surrounded with at a party and/or concert all night
  
• rent a room at the ritz on the beach for a week and throw a mad crazy party
• take a spontaneous trip somewhere--anywhere--and drive till the road ends
• meet new people and hookup with someone whose name i won't remember the next morning
• pull an all-nighter(s)
  
• never ever follow the rules
• and finally, get as tan as this girl, hehe...

i honestly never thought i would be saying this...but...i simply adore doc martens! especially the floral ones! so cute! they are totally in right now, totally awesome, and i'm totally getting a pair! screw the hot weather, i'll wear them with just a bathing suit if i have to!

an underwater fantasy...

speechless, i know.

you know those times when you're feeling particularly adventurous and a thought crosses your mind that as first seems absurd, but due to your unusual risk-craving it seems more appealing with every second that passes? aha. well yesterday while in a state of desperation due to the extreme temperatures, an idea popped into my mind: jump into the pool will all my clothes on. so, i did. total bad ass i know.

of course almost immediately after i had to get out and dry off, take a shower, finish my spanish homework, study for a theology and spanish test, and pick up my room. but at least in that brief, unexpected action i was able to escape reality, even if for just a moment, and enter an underwater fantasy...

hello lovelies. now before i post on last night (KOL concert), which for now i will simply say was completely, unbelievably incredible, hands-down best concert i have ever been to--scratch that--best experience of my life...i wanted to share a video that i am simply in love with, not only because it's for my all-time favorite designer MATTHEW WILLIAMSON, but simply because it's like really really cool. enjoy cuties!
